MDM Hasnaoui SPA

Project :
Product Catalogue Design for MDM Hasnaoui SPA

Objective:

The main objective was to create a catalogue showcasing all MDM Hasnaoui SPA products, including doors, kitchens, wardrobes and wall coverings.

The process:

The catalogue structure was planned by drawing up a detailed layout of the catalogue in the beginning of the process. This involved organising product categories to ensure a logical layout and fluid page sequence for an optimal reading experience.
The next step was the development of compelling text content, which was the result of close collaboration with the MDM Hasnaoui SPA team. Together, we defined the product descriptions and technical data sheets, ensuring consistency and informativeness throughout the catalogue.
After establishing the content, I was responsible for editing and manipulation of the product images using Adobe Photoshop. Each image was precisely edited and saved at 300 DPI to ensure optimal quality when printed. This stage was crucial for presenting the products in an attractive and professional manner in the catalogue.
Simultaneously, I began designing the file in InDesign, configuring it with bleed and safety margins. Utilising this tool, I created both aesthetically pleasing and functional layouts, integrating cropped images and textual content. The final outcome is an attractive design, suitable for printing.

Outcome:

Finally, to ensure the quality of the catalogue after printing, I was actively involved in the post-print check. This included a thorough validation stage with the client team, enabling any necessary corrections to be made and ensuring that the catalogue met expectations in terms of print quality and product presentation.
Through a methodical and collaborative approach, a comprehensive catalogue was created that is visually appealing and aligned with MDM Hasnaoui SPA’s objectives as a company specialising in wooden interior solutions.

Personal Reflection:
The MDM catalog project made a lasting impression on me due to its significant scope, which demanded patience and iteration.
